i found this vintage Equestrian helmet at the Long Beach Veterans Swap Meet last weekend
when i saw it i knew instantly that it would be my new cycling helmet
i just need to attach a simple chin-strap and it will be good to go
best $10 i have spent in a long time

I did my first Time Trial this morning and had a blast! The 12 mile course had some challenging climbs and really fun descents. I ended with more energy then I anticipated – which means next time I can push it a little harder. We got our new kits in [that I designed] which made the race that much more exciting. Jake took all the photos – and it’s funny to me that in 80% of them I’m smiling. That was usually the case in all my surfing photos too! I guess there isn’t really anything bad about smiling too much…enjoy
